Sky has introduced that it'll be showing the 85th Annual Oscars survive Sunday 24 Feb by itself devoted funnel for the first time. Known as Sky Movies Academy awards HD (a typical definition version can also be available), the funnel will broadcast the ceremony live in the Dolby Theatre in La, be preceded by its very own live build-up show.
The homegrown programme, The Academy awards 2013: Red-colored Carpet Live, will even air on Sky Living HD (and SD version). It'll start at 11.30pm around the Sunday, to become adopted immediately through the Honours, that will run from 1.30am to 4am on Monday 25 Feb. The ceremony itself is going to be proven only on Sky Movies Academy awards.
Along with the event, the brand new funnel may also be screening 10 of 2012's Oscar-winning films. It begins on 11 Feb and will also be a part of a Sky Movies subscription.

The Academy awards this season will be provided by Seth MacFarlane,?creator from the Family Guy and star and director of Ted. A performance from the Skyfall theme song by Adele has additionally been confirmed - it's nominated for the best Original Song - and also the ceremony will celebrate the 50th anniversary of Bond having a tribute.
